I do so hate cars. :) But it was getting to be a real pain always borrowing from your mother. I have been looking for several months. I was torn between being economical and green and accomodating my bike habit. The Element was the compromise. I don't care for how they look but it was good for what I need. It will hold my bikes. It has ties downs inside. It is made for doing what I do. I figured fuel efficiency wasn't so important since I drive so seldom. It is a 2003 and has lots of miles so I didn't pay much.
