The Pain Has Started
Many of you have already had to suffer through the presidential campaign ads this year.
I watch very little TV and can’t recall having seen any. That was until now. McCain has now started a TV campaign spot in my viewing area.
I used to have a fair amount of respect for John McCain. I should say, I had at least as much respect for him as I can have for a politician. I even voted for him in 2000.
There is one quote from the ad I find particularly interesting. I believe it goes like this, ”John McCain believes the economy is in shambles”.
I could ask a lot of questions in regards to that statement. I will only submit two questions here.
1-Who has been in charge for the last eight years?
2-How do McCain’s policies for the economy differ from those of the current administration?
Didn’t somebody once say that insanity is doing the same thing and getting the same result and doing it anyway?

Doesn’t McCain sound a rocket scientist? Of course this is a rhetorical statement. It is fun watching him tie himself in knots on many issues where he is trying to be reasonable while trying to keep the very unreasonable Republicans happy. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know where my political affiliation lies. It should get very interesting now that Obama is trying to actively woo the Evangelicals… Though as a Democrat, it is somewhat fascinating to watch the Evangelicals being catered to by a Democratic presidential candidate…

Yes. I was not real impressed with Obama’s position on the Faith Based Initiative stuff.
