Another Amazing Quote From GW
“Bullying and intimidation are not acceptable ways to conduct foreign policy in the 21st century”
That is what GW is quoted as saying in regards to the Georgia/Russian situation. Does this guy ever cease to amaze?
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
Is the hypocrisy completely lost on politicians or are they so self absorbed that they don’t care?

“Is the hypocrisy completely lost on politicians or are they so self absorbed that they don’t care?” A millon dollar question though Bush is of course extra special!

America does not bully or intimidate. America is the greatest country on the face of the Earth. America helps other countries to better themselves like America has. America is the best. America is pure and honest and sinless. Go America. I love America. America’s number one.

I have been thinking the same thing, and I’ll bet the rest of the world is saying “look who’s talking” when pro-war politicians in the US wag their finger at the uncalled-for aggression in Georgia. “First cast out the beam out of thine own eye…”

Dear Mama’s Losing it- While I too feel lucky and proud to be an American, I don’t believe America is perfect as your comments seems to indicate. With all due respect, in order to be objective, you might want to take a good hard look at US policies in general and especially in the recent years because they reflect arrogance, delusion of power and certitude especially with respect to foreign policy.
Having said that your fervent patriotism is certainly to be admired!

“Mama’s losin’ it” - I imagine (andd hope) that this is “tongue-in-cheek”, but as an outsider, I do suggest that America takes stock of how much respect and credibility America has lost during the Bush era. If I were American, I’d be very cross.
