Sounds like my first trip to the old Deseret Gym. The locker room freaked us all out, lots of lounging naked guys in a daze, it was like some crazy sick mormon opium den. Truthfully, it was probably an ideal spot for trolls to hang out, so it should be no surprise that the landmark building was razed, and the LDS conference center was built on its lot. :-)

The French always made fun of us for being prudes. It isn't like they were sex obsessed when people were showing skin, they were just used to it, so they didn't really think much of it or look too much into it. It isn't like their nude beaches are full of super-models either, just regular folk out for a dip and a tan.

I've always wanted to go skinny dipping, or hang out on a nudist beach in South France... *sigh* Skinny dipping or running around half naked is a lot less acceptable for a female than a male.

That was a very nice post which shows a nice instance of male bonding as well as proving once again that what is lost nowadays is the innocence that was the hallmark of the bygone days...

That's great Tim. I never heard about it. What pond was that? Maybe this post will elicit more unknown escades of grand children on the farm.

So did you vote in the poll then?

That's a great story. I'm glad to find out about another side of my grandpa. It must have been something I inherited that made me and Tyler Talbot from across the street go skinny dipping in the irrigation pond on the farm when I was little.
