Inauguration Report
For those of you interested I decided against riding my bike downtown. I didn’t want to stand around in the cold for such a long time.
I found out too late that there was a gathering in Alexandria City viewing it on a Jumbotron. I wish I would have know earlier because it would have been fun to have been part of a gathering for the occasion.

ah, I was just going to ask if you went ! I saw clips on the news and Wow! lots and lots of people! Good you did not go

I have heard that there were many folks who could not make it into the buildings for receptions for hours at length due to security and other factors. And I heard of Metro horror stories also. But yes, overall things went quite well.

I had the opportunity to watch it all on TV and I must say it was quite something. I can’t imagine having to battle the crowds though.
